Membership and Events

How can I see your upcoming events?
To see our upcoming events, you need to become a member first. Our events are exclusive to members. After signing up, you will start receiving invitations tailored to your age and interests.

How can I purchase tickets to your events?
Once you're a member, you'll receive invitations to events that match your age and interests. Each invitation includes a full event description, including the menu, location, date, and time. You can then decide whether to purchase a ticket.

Why do I have to sign up as a member?
Our exclusive community is for people who are passionate about food and cooking and looking for meaningful connections. Membership ensures that attendees share our values and commitment. It also helps us create a safe environment and maintain age group consistency and gender balance.

Where are the cooking classes located?
Our events are hosted in various venues throughout the city, each chosen to create an intimate setting.

How many people attend the cooking classes?
The number of guests varies depending on the venue's capacity, typically between 15-30 guests. You'll see this information on your event invitation before you purchase a ticket.

What kind of cuisines/food do you feature in your cooking classes?
We offer a variety of cooking classes showcasing different cuisines to ensure there's always an event that suits your taste.

Do you have any age restrictions?
You must be 19+ to attend our events due to the presence of alcohol. When you sign up, you will indicate your age, and you'll only be invited to events within your age group.

What is the price for your cooking classes?
Ticket prices vary depending on the menu, ranging from $100 to $200 per ticket. We offer cooking classes with a variety of menus and cuisines to fit different budgets and interests.

What is the cancellation policy for buying tickets?
If you can't attend, please email us at info@perfectpairingevents.com at least 72 hours in advance. If someone from the waitlist takes your spot, we'll refund your ticket. No refunds are given for cancellations less than 72 hours before the event since this doesn't give us enough time to find someone else to take your spot.

Cooking Experience

What if I have dietary restrictions or food allergies?
No problem! Indicate your dietary restrictions and allergies when purchasing your ticket, and our chef will make substitutions. You'll also see the event menu before purchasing the ticket to decide if you'll enjoy the meal.

Will I get hands-on experience or just watch demonstrations during the cooking class?
You'll do both! Start with hands-on experience preparing appetizers under our chef's guidance, then watch a demonstration as the chef prepares the main course. Enjoy socializing with other singles while sipping wine, followed by a sit-down dinner and more socializing at the dessert station.

Who will be teaching the cooking class?
A professional chef with a Food Handler Certificate will lead the class. We're always looking for professional chefs to join our team. If you or someone you know is interested, please email your resume to info@perfectpairingevents.com.

Dating Experience

How do you help guests get to know each other?
We create a safe and intimate environment with ice-breakers and conversation cards to help build connections. Additionally, learning to cook together provides a great common topic to discuss.

How do you ensure attendees are from the same age group?
Our events are exclusive to members. During sign-up, we send the link to purchase tickets only to those within the same age group.

How do you ensure an equal number of men and women?
We allocate the same number of tickets to men and women to ensure balance. There might be a slight discrepancy (no more than three people).

Are your events LGBTQ+ friendly?
Absolutely! Our events are inclusive of everyone, regardless of how you identify or who you're interested in. When you sign up, you'll be asked about your preferences.

Can I bring a friend?
You can refer a friend to become a member. If your age groups match, you'll both be invited to upcoming events. When your friend signs up and mentions your name, you'll both receive a special surprise!
